Hi Stranger, Welcome to my site.

Just opened my account so the site is a little under construction right now. But since you are already here, I will tell you a little about myself:

My name is David I'm a 28yo Front End developer.

Pronouns: I usually go by David, but I'm AMAB so you can use he/him.

I believe in free will and consequences.

I love to code, play video games and anything that allows me to create new things.

I'm the kind of person that never shuts up about their "dreams and aspirations", which may come as a little weird or corny, but is a lot easier to find people that think alike that way.

I've been working as a Front End developer for 5 years now, there is a crunch related aspect to the whole business that has started to bother me in the last years.

But even like that I still find coding a powerful tool capable of creating amazing things, which was the only reason for me to study programming in the first place.

Why start a neocities site?

The reason for creating this site or at least the reason I'm working on it right now, is because I want to keep myself accountable.

Since recently I started delving into game dev and want to start my own projects. So this page will be a type of blog in which I try to do a weekly log with all my advances in that topic.

Now even tho I took the whole 5 years of software engineering career, creating games is a whole different beast, so I don't expect having much in the first month, but I do expect to become the kind of person capable of creating games at a steady and good pace. Btw this ain't meant as a portfolio or anything of the sort, quite the oposite.

I want two things from this site:

• Bend or break the rules I got taught at university, without feeling I'm committing a sin, like they make you feel whenever you do it on a professional environment... as they should or get taught at least.
• Having my little place for venting, be it about the world, game dev or my own behaviors. Something I always watched others had and always wanted for myself. Not only the quite metaphysical non-euclidean "venting to the void" place but the experience of having it. For me is always about the experience.
